If you are planning a new project or want a change in the use of your existing company, you usually need a building permit. Minor construction projects or similar, for which would apply the same requirements of the previous use, may be exempt from a building permit. However, also in this case, other permissions may also be required (for example, for advertising installations in a community where design statues apply). The building permit allows you to carry out your project to an approved extent and gives you a legal security.

Till their effective entry into force, building permits can be legally attacked by the neighbors. As a result, the start of a construction can be delayed or completely prohibited. Both cases can be extremely expensive for the builder. It would be recommendable to inform the neighbors about the building project as soon as possible.
